A Lifelong Love for Animals
I truly believe I was born with a love of animals. They’ve always been a part of my life—dogs, cats, horses, birds, hamsters, sugar gliders, ferrets, rats, sheep, goats… you name it! As a kid, I used to pretend I ran a boarding facility for pets and even made pretend checks to collect “payments.” Looking back, it feels like this dream has been with me my whole life, and I feel so blessed to finally bring it to life.
Education and Experience
This lifelong passion led me to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University. My original goal was to become a veterinarian, but through my journey I discovered my true calling as a veterinary technician. I found joy in being hands-on with patients, providing daily care, and connecting with both pets and their people.
Over the years, that experience naturally grew into offering pet-sitting services, allowing me to continue caring for animals outside the clinic. While I may not be your pet’s vet tech, I’d be honored to be their trusted pet sitter, offering the same level of care, love, and attention they deserve while you’re away.
A Creative Side
Alongside my love for animals, I also have a creative side that I enjoy expressing through my homemade creations. What started with learning how to quilt has grown into a passion for creating unique, handcrafted items for pets and people. Each piece is made with care and love, using hand-selected fabrics to make every item as special as possible.
Once a fabric pattern is gone, it may be gone for good so be sure to check back often to see what’s new!
A New Chapter in Wisconsin
After spending many wonderful years in Texas, life led me to beautiful Wisconsin with my husband, where we’ve found a welcoming community and amazing people. With the move, I realized how much I missed that daily connection with pets and their people.
That longing inspired me to start C+C Pet Care and Homemade Creations—a way to continue fulfilling my passion of caring for animals while also sharing my love for creating handmade items. During the planning process, my favorite Bible verse came to mind:
“And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” – 1 Corinthians 13:13
This verse became my business motto, which has always been part of my caring for animals and anything I do. When something is done with love, it carries so much more meaning. My goal is to provide loving care for your pet(s), giving you peace of mind—and to offer handcrafted products made from the heart.
I’m proud to now serve the West Bend area and surrounding communities, providing loving, competent care for pets and sharing my handmade creations with my new neighbors. As I step into this new chapter, I’m eager to see where it leads and grateful to start this journey.
